| I am so glad you found our new site! Let me tell you a little about us. I am a wife, mom to five, grandma to,(at last count!)10; trying to stay sane while coping with a retired husband, a teenage daughter, 3 dogs and our newest addition, a 9 week old kitten, "Lil Miss Whiskers". We are a family of crafters, going back almost 50 years, learning to 'make-do' out of necessity..and crafting now out of love.After years of dreaming, we opened our storefront, Primitive At Heart, on August 1, 2006. We are located on the Illinois River, not far from Peoria. Most of the wood products are made by my hubby, Rick and son, David, with other hand-mades and painted stuff by me.
